Reviews and Ratings
The hotel had comfortable rooms, albeit a bit noisy in the evening due to the bar downstairs. The space didn't leave much room for open suitcases, but the main building rooms were very nice with a big bathroom and a balcony. The service was overall amazing, with friendly, attentive, and professional staff available 24/7. The location was fantastic, making the stay special and offering unique experiences. The dining was exceptional, offering delicious food and the chance to enjoy local and seasonal products. The facilities added to the pleasant stay.
My stay at the hotel was fantastic as it offered a great location surrounded by crystal clear beaches, cosmopolitan dining experiences, and quality shopping. The rooms were lovely with high ceilings, a balcony facing the square, and luxurious Jo Malone toiletries, though space was a bit tight for suitcases. The service was top-notch, with the staff being exceptionally helpful from welcoming us at the ferry to providing individual breakfast boxes. The dining experience was delightful, and the facilities were well-maintained. However, the morning shade and the smell of bins detracted slightly from the otherwise amazing location.
The hotel is a wonderful place to unwind, read a book, enjoy a coffee, or have a drink in the evening. The verandah offers a charming setting. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite after our first night.
My stay at the hotel was simply amazing! The rooms were beautifully furnished, spacious, and offered a lovely view overlooking the lawn and the sea. However, it could get a bit noisy on certain days. The service was exceptional, with a high level of hospitality and the staff being very pleasant and informative. The location was absolutely stunning, with beautiful public areas, great dining options, and crystal clear beaches nearby. The dining experience had tasty and substantial options, though it could improve with a wider selection.
The hotel was a great size with amazing baths, Jo Malone complimentary toiletries, and fluffy towels, but if you're celebrating your wedding, don't expect any special treatment or personal touches; it's like being sent back at least one century. The historical significance of the hotel prevents any interior changes.
